Pastor Joseph B. Davis, Sr. was born and educated in Washington, DC.  He was raised by his grandparents, Beulah and the late Isaac Davis.  Pastor Davis and his wife, Co-Pastor Debra Ann, have been married for 38 years. They are proud parents of three children and nine grandchildren.

Pastor Davis accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1980, and was sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost in 1984.  He was called to the ministry in 1986, licensed to preach in 1990, and ordained an Elder in 1993 in the Greater Maryland First Jurisdiction Church of God in Christ, Inc. by the late Bishop David Washington Spann, Sr. in Baltimore, Maryland.

For 24 years, Pastor Davis has served as the Founder and Senior Pastor of Way of Truth and Life Ministries.

In addition to his pastoral duties, Pastor Davis has served the Church of God in Christ in numerous capacities on the District and Jurisdictional levels. He currently serves as the Director of Intercessory Prayer under the leadership of Bishop Carl A. Pierce, Sr. in the Maryland Central Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction.

Furthermore, Pastor Davis has pursued theological studies at The Charles Harrison Mason Bible College and School of Theology, Baltimore Division.  He has also received extensive training in leadership development from various conferences, including the Pastors and Elders Conferences.

Since October 2014, Pastor Davis and his wife, Co-Pastor Debra Ann have been members of the Pastors Network with Lyles and Deborah Dukes Ministries in Woodbridge, VA.

Pastor Davis’ mission is to teach, train, develop and empower people to live, love, serve and give better. He has served untiringly in an effort to reach the lost, to provide guidance for those saved for Christ, and to live a life that is found pleasing to God.
